Our classroom has a bright, cheerful atmosphere filled with age appropriate toys and activities. Our goal is for the children to feel comfortable and happy with their friends as they play and learn basic Bible truths-sharing, being kind to others, Jesus loves them, and that God is always with them. Many of the Bible stories help the children learn about men and women-even young people-who loved and obeyed God. Music is incorporated in this classroom as the children learn to sing fun songs with lots of movement and rhythm instruments that further reinforce their understanding of how much God loves them and wants them to love Him. Two volunteers lead the children as they play, hear an age-appropriate Bible story and make a craft that reinforces the Truth from the Bible story or helps the children apply a Bible truth to their lives. Each week the children enjoy a light snack. Our volunteers want every child to enjoy their time in their classroom as they learn more about Jesus and know that they are loved.
